The strength of the FLAPP network is in the exchange of experiences between experts in Europe. Apart from study visits and other exchange activities, a database has been created with over 25 practical flood management examples. The experiences range from cross border flood mapping, renaturalisation projects in regional streams to transboundary monitoring systems and public awareness tools.
